David Kunes, CSCS®, is the owner and head trainer at Gulfshore Fitness. He brings a diverse background and a lifelong passion for fitness to his training practice. Offering both technical and practical expertise, Dave is committed to helping his clients achieve their health and wellness goals. His specialties include motivation, nutrition, strength, conditioning, and mobility.
Dave became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist® (CSCS®) in 2015 following a decade in the corporate world. A graduate of Officer Candidate School in Quantico, Virginia, Dave served 4 years in the U.S Marine Corps with 7th Marine Regiment. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh.

April is driven by a strong passion for aiding individuals in achieving their fitness aspirations through a practical and enduring approach. With a background as a competitive Olympic Weightlifter and a lifelong performer in the arts of dance, she places significant importance on well-structured programming, wholesome movement, and cultivating a positive mentality to foster lifelong fitness success across various life stages and objectives.
Sunni Anne Ball
Certified Personal Trainer
Sunni Anne Ball has been a certified personal trainer since 2008, with a lifelong passion for helping people move better and feel stronger. A former professional wakeboarder who competed globally from ages 11 to 22, she brings a deep understanding of injury recovery and athletic performance to her training. Sunni holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Health Promotion and Kinesiology from Dalhousie University and completed a five-year movement therapy program in Spacial Dynamics. She’s also certified in breathwork through Oxygen Advantage, using it to overcome lifelong asthma. Her approach blends science, experience, and intuition to meet clients where they are—and move them forward.
